VDC Explorer

• Multi-disciplinary model management – The work of each team member is made easier with combined engineered model, simplified project structure and simple navigation.

• Collaboration – Viasys VDC includes a range of collaboration tools inside the model including; topics, topics attributes, commenting, cloud synchronization and Collaboration Server.

• Design analysis – Design analysis can easily be achieved with the range of design tools included such as Object Info, Measurement, Value based clash detection and Sun shadows and sky.

• Design simulation – Check and visualise the design with 5D simulation and Driving Simulation.

• Share models  – VDC models can be used in a range of environments. Publish models onto VDC live or export models to advanced visualisation tools.

VDC Live

• Model publishing platform – VDC Live enables you to publish VDC models and generic 3D models with unlimited viewers. VDC Live means you can share you can share models, add models to web pages and control model functionalities. There is also a sophisticated comment sharing feature.

• Models on web – Utilising WebGL technology, VDC Live allows models to be viewed on any browser. Features such as Model browser, Navigation and Web viewer make sharing models easy.

• Models on mobile – View models while on-site, there are host of mobile features. The free viewer app for Apple devices boasts features such as Model browser, QR code scanner, Mobile viewer, Normal navigation mode, Marker mode and Outdoor augmented reality mode.

VDC Modeller

• Integration & data import – Viasys VDC integrates smoothly to your existing tools such as Autodesk® AutoCAD®,Civil 3D® and Map3D®. Plus import data in various formats such as open data model formats (LandXML, IFC) and generic 3D model formats.

• Parametric modelling – Viasys VDC handles 2D to 3D as well as GIS data into 3D conversions. You can convert CAD symbols to 3D objects and visualize models automatically.
