Description
Modern radar technology makes locating easier
The world’s first ground-penetrating radar system to use triple-frequency radar technology for locating and imaging objects at greater depths and with higher resolution than competitive single- or dual-frequency systems.
The four-wheeled, walk-behind Quantum Imager incorporates a Panasonic Toughpad tablet computer that enables the operator to run a suite of Windows-based applications, including GPS, 3D imaging, Google Earth integration and report generation. The tablet computer features a 10.1-in., high-definition screen, readable in all lighting conditions, and incorporates connectivity options such as wi-fi, Bluetooth and optional 3G and 4G direct internet service.
Typical Applications
With greater depth and resolution than any other locating technology, the Quantum Imager can be used for anything from bridge deck analysis to utilities up to 30+\\\’ deep and everything in between.
Features
- Daylight readable Panasonic ToughPad
- High Performance CPU enables nearly all processing to be done on-board in realtime
- Onboard 3D viewing capable
- Hot Swappable Battery Backs-2 included with each system for a typical total runtime of 10 hours and a typical lifetime of several years
- Stepped pulse triple frequency antenna
- Airless solid tires which cannot go flat and require no maintenance
- Optional GPS integration
- Foldable cart for easy storage
- Many ports for expansion such as USB, Ethernet, WiFi, HDMI, etc.
Why Triple Frequency?
The Quantum Imager offers drastically more depth as well as higher resolution than any other imaging technology on the market. This is because of the lower bandwidth of dual frequency systems. Dual frequency systems also miss the middle frequencies ideal for utility locating.
